Description of the Role:
We are currently seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly personalities to be Hotel Front Desk Agents at Mohican Lodge. This is a crucial role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and informing guests about hotel amenities and rates. We are looking for Part Time, Evening, 3pm-11pm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements:
- Experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or other customer-facing role preferred but not required
- Experience with computers, copiers, faxes, and other office equipment preferred but not required
- Previous experience with answering multi-line telephones preferred but not required
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
