What kind of person are we looking for?
The Product Sales Specialist is accountable for the introduction, development, and execution of sales product training for new and current product offerings. This person is responsible to ensure the overall strategic goals are met & responsible for providing leadership, direction, hands-on coaching\training to the Monarch customers, partners, and Regional Sales Managers.
The position will also provide dealer training; dealer pre (70%) and post (30%) sales support assistance, and some end-user support for strategic clients. Leading local user groups and generally taking the technical lead for regional sales issues that have been identified.
What does the job entail?
- On site distributor product training
- Develop distribution dealer’s knowledge on new Monarch Tractor solutions
- Presale and Post Sale support.
- Resolve customer questions/issues.
- Participate in farm show\events.
- Provide in-depth presales demonstrations
- Participate in new product releases and beta cycles to ensure information and training requirements are met to support new product sales to dealers.
- Provides front line pre- and post-sales support
- Carry out system- and feature-related hardware, software, and machine vision field tests of mechatronic farm machinery. Provide detailed documentation of testing execution and results.
- Plan, manage and provide value proposition to dealers and customers, including field days, training events, dealer meetings, and customer visits to achieve retail unit and share objectives for assigned products in the assigned territory
- Participate in evaluation of current and future products and give feedback to ensure appropriate customer requirements are being addressed.
- Provide in-field engineering support, including data collection, field test, troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve and document all aspects of the products
- Provide an interface for Product Management, Autonomy, Digital and Engineering to understand the evolving needs of customers
- Perform hands-on set-up, maintenance, testing and customization in the field per engineering test requirements
- Track and manage recurring issues, from problem identification to resolution
- Suggest design alternatives and support development of new features and tools
- Transport and operate tractors and field test-related equipment as needed
More practical skills needed
- Experience with Agricultural equipment and working with large machinery in the field.
- Education:
- Associate’s degree with at least three (3) years of Agricultural product experience
- High school diploma with at least five (5) years of Agricultural product experience
- At least two (2) years of experience of direct customer agriculture equipment support
- Experience troubleshooting and working with complex systems involving software, electronics, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer-facing skills & team-oriented mindset
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to travel 95% - this is a field-based position.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass MVR
Desired Background:
- AS Degree in Agribusiness, agronomy, equipment mechanization, or Ag engineering, plus 5 years of experience in precision ag solutions, guidance, water management and Ag equipment sales or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated technical capability with a strong competency with Ag field and office software.

- Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
