Primary Function
Ensure the packaging of quality Snack Food products through testing and analysis of product and packaging.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Gather samples to perform weight, moisture, salometer and ph checks on product
- Complete all quality control paperwork and forward to appropriate recipients
- Check packaging for integrity of seals, dates, vacuum, and proper caddie and case counts
- Communicate with PMO and supervisor on quality issues
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow GMP/HAACP procedures
- Pre-operational sanitation inspections daily
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
- Knowledge of common QC techniques and procedures
- Intermediate level math and writing skills
- Intermediate level communication skills
- Ability to test and read scales
- Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong organizational skills
