Housekeeper Job Overview :
Cleans and services Montefiore premises including office areas, ancillaries, patient care areas, perioperative (OR, SPD, PACU / ASU, Labor & Delivery etc.), Critical Care areas, Emergency Department, restrooms, corridors, stairways, nursing areas, etc.
Adheres to Infection Prevention and Environmental Services Policies & Procedures.
Demonstrates strong positive patient and customer service skills.
Performs other related duties as required.
This position is an essential role and will be required to work during inclement weather.
Requirements : HS Diploma or GED
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff and other members within the organization.
