We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Server to join our team at Monterey Peninsula Country Club. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
Key Job Duties:
- Describe menu items, including preparation methods, ingredients, and presentation
- Take orders and input them accurately into the POS system
- Ensure accurate billing and charging of members and guests
- Maintain a clean and organized side station, including supplies and equipment
- Assist with dining room flow and bill payment to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and management to ensure seamless service
Qualifications
What We Need From You:
- One to two years of food service experience in an upscale environment
- Private club, resort, or hospitality experience preferred
- Possess a Food Handler Certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Possess RBS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekdays, and weekends
- Well-groomed professional image and appearance
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
