Position Summary
We are looking for motivated Laborers/Groundsmen to support land clearing and construction projects. These roles are essential in assisting equipment operators, maintaining safe job sites, and performing hands-on work such as debris removal, site prep, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidates are reliable, safety-focused and willing to work in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist equipment operators and crews with daily site operations
- Perform manual labor tasks such as clearing debris, setting up job sites and preparing materials
- Maintain safe work zones by spotting for equipment and directing traffic when needed
- Use hand tools, chainsaws and small equipment as directed
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations and environmental guidelines
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors
- Support land clearing and construction crews with additional tasks as required
- Prior construction or land clearing experience preferred but not required (will train)
- Ability to safely use hand tools and small equipment, such as chainsaws
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions
- Ability to travel to job sites (per diem provided where applicable)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to lift, carry and move up to 75 lbs. regularly
- Comfortable working on foot for long hours in rugged terrain
- Ability to bend, stoop and perform physically demanding tasks
