We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Global Compliance KYC Leader to design, implement, and continuously improve our enterprise-wide Know-Your-Customer (KYC) governance framework. This role is pivotal in ensuring global compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies while driving operational excellence and risk management across customer onboarding and screening processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of global KYC governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure global frameworks remain compliant and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with Compliance M&A and cross-functional teams to integrate KYC requirements into business activities.
- Manage and optimize global screening protocols, lists, and risk classifications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver operational excellence and compliance.
- Establish and report on key compliance metrics (KPIs/KRIs) while supporting audit readiness and remediation efforts.
- Oversee alert management processes, ensuring effective escalation, exception handling, and continuous process improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to executive leadership and acting as a central resource for KYC inquiries.
- Drive global training initiatives to promote KYC awareness and consistent policy adherence.
- Lead governance forums and working groups to align stakeholders on KYC priorities and compliance strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of global KYC/AML regulations, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of managing global compliance teams and leading complex programs.
