What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide (PCA) position at Moravian Manor Communities?
Moravian Manor Communities is a premier not-for-profit life plan community that has been serving older adults for over 45 years.
We are currently seeking a part-time first shift PCA. Every other weekend and every other holiday will be required.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with care in a kind and compassionate manner
- Taking resident temperatures, pulses, blood pressure, and weights
- Responding to resident requests in a prompt fashion
- Maintaining safe work practices and following facility safety procedures
Job Requirements will include:
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- 1 year of PCA experience in a Personal Care or Assisted Living setting
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
