Job Description
Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department on all personnel matters and assists employees with daily requests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assists with the recruitment process and new hire orientation.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee events
- Provides necessary materials to managers and employees including manuals, employee forms and handbooks, and standardized reports.
- Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies, governmental laws and regulations.
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resource team.
- Performs other related duties and HR projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Business or Administrative Support.
- 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role, preferably supporting an HR department.
- Meticulous and well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Able to exercise good judgment by recognizing urgency and setting priorities
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance, as well as being personal, approachable and having a positive attitude
- Able to work independently with good problem solving and time management skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
