Overview:

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across the facility. The role includes both corrective and preventive maintenance using CMMS (Maximo) and participation in a multi-year training program with step-level pay increases.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant systems and equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems using diagnostic tools and schematics

Assist with installation and calibration of equipment

Participate in predictive and preventative maintenance tasks

Support inventory control and parts management

Document all maintenance activities in CMMS (Maximo)

Work safely and comply with all plant safety procedures

Assist during plant outages and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial, utility, or power plant maintenance

Strong mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation background

Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&ID diagrams, and blueprints

Forklift Certification and EPA Universal Certification preferred

Willingness to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varied temperatures

Must be available for overtime and emergency call-ins

Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and passing respiratory clearance
