What are the responsibilities and job description for the (USA) Warehouse Associate position at Morrison Express?
*** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THURSDAYS to MONDAYS FROM 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM ***
Role & Responsibilities:
· Efficiently handle and process incoming and outgoing freight shipments.
· Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move freight within the facility
· Utilize scanning equipment and WMS to accurately track and manage inventory.
· Maintain detailed computer logs to record and track freight movement, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
· Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with company standards
· Work collaboratively with team members to optimize workflow and meet operational goals.
· Assist in training new employees on freight handling procedures, forklift operation, and use of technology systems
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related industry preferred.
· Proficient in the use of scanners, WMS, and computerized logistics systems.
· Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
· Ability to lift and move heavy freight and stand for extended periods.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
· Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and operational needs.
Salary : $20 - $22
