Job Description
Our field technicians provide outdoor pest control services to customer yards. Customer service is paramount.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests
- Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
- Maintain good customer relationships
- Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
- Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles
- Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
- Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperatures
- Comfortable driving to customer locations
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
- Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service
Education and Experience
- Honest, Reliable and Dependable
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing over 60 lbs. for long periods of time in hot temperatures
- Show up to work on time and ready to work every day that you are scheduled
- Fast learner- must be able to pass state certification exam to apply pesticides and gain a general knowledge of basic pest control

Pay
- Starting pay is $16/hour. You will receive a raise to $18/hour once you become certified which takes about 2 weeks. Upon 60 days of work completed, you will receive another raise to $20/hour.

Hours
We typically work between 30 to 60 hours per week. The weather can significantly affect our work schedule. We never work on Sunday's, but we do have to work Saturday's occasionally. Our work days begin at 7:00 AM and typically end around 2:00-4:00 PM.
Salary : $20
