Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum program
- Prepare engaging and interactive teaching materials
- Conduct classroom activities and discussions to enhance students' English language skills
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment
- Provide individualized academic advising and support to students
- Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for student success
- Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require it
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in English language teaching
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification or license in English or a related subject area
- Proven experience in teaching English to students of various proficiency levels
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations for diverse learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behavior
