They are seeking a talented Founding Product Designer who will play a critical role in crafting the tools and experiences that form the core of this groundbreaking video platform. In this role, you will work closely with the founders to design the foundational tools for users to create high-quality character videos. You'll bring a unique combination of creativity, technical insight, and strategic thinking, directly influencing the product's vision and user experience from inception. Reporting to the CEO, you will join a dynamic team and take significant ownership over the product's direction, ensuring it meets the high standards required for both functionality and user engagement.

Requirements:

• Must haves:
  • 4 years of professional experience in Product Design
  • Experience designing video tools
  • Experience working at a startup
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading the design process within a cross-functional team.
• Experience in fast-paced, growing environments, where adaptability and resilience are key.
• Skilled in designing for web, mobile, or desktop applications with intricate user workflows and systems challenges.
• High level of design craft, paired with strong instincts for aligning design decisions with business and product goals.
• Strong ability to set accurate development timelines and deliver on them.

Nice to Haves:

• 2 years of experience designing video creativity tools for both consumer and enterprise users.
• Background in shaping design strategy for GenAI, social platforms, and/or complex system designs.
• Experience as a Founding Product Designer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of foundational product tools that empower users to create impactful character videos.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and refine the product's UX/UI from the ground up.
• Translate complex technical concepts into intuitive and visually engaging user experiences.
• Ensure design consistency and a cohesive brand experience across all product elements.
• Continuously improve product quality by engaging in feedback loops, testing, and iteration.

Compensation and Culture: This role offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000, with an equity component between 0.1% and 0.6%, reflecting our client's commitment to shared success.
