Senior Linux Engineer / Denton, TX / 6 month Contract

A growing organization in Denton is looking for a Senior Active Directory Engineer to join their team. Our client is a well-known aerospace manufacturing company that are partnered with many organization across the industry. Our client specializes in the manufacturing of jet equipment, such as landing gears, engines, wheels/brakes, etc.

They are looking for someone who excels with Linux - no preference on flavor (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.). They are looking someone who is skilled with RADIUS servers though as you will be helping with their optimization. Any experience with FreeRADIUS and/or Squid Proxy, that would be a massive plus.

Additionally, any network administration experience would be desirable - DNS, DHCP, firewalls, TCP/IP, etc.

This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility to convert to full-time. Pay rate will be around $55-70/hr. Hybrid Tues-Thurs onsite out of their Denton office.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of IT experience
• Strong skills with Linux - CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.
• Expert with RADIUS servers - FreeRADIUS.
• Knowledgeable with Squid Proxy.
• Prior work with LDAP.
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters in a Computer related field is a plus.
• Strong understanding of LDAP and/or Active Directory is a plus.
• Certifications are a nice to have.
