Senior VMware Engineer / Denton, TX / 6 month Contract

A growing organization in Denton is looking for a Senior Active Directory Engineer to join their team. Our client is a well-known aerospace manufacturing company that are partnered with many organization across the industry. Our client specializes in the manufacturing of jet equipment, such as landing gears, engines, wheels/brakes, etc.

They are currently looking for a VMware specialist as they are looking to scale and optimize their current environment. Their ideal engineer will be someone who is skilled with vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and vMotion. Any exposure to VMware Cloud (AWS/Azure) would be great too. Having good PowerShell experience will be useful as well.

Additionally, any experience with automation tools like Ansible/Terraform would be a nice to have.

This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility to convert to full-time. Pay rate will be around $55-70/hr. Hybrid model (Tues-Thurs onsite) out of their Denton office.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of IT experience
• Expert with VMware
• vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, vMotion
• Strong with PowerShell.
• Prior work with Ansible/Terraform, or any other automation tools, will be beneficial.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters in a Computer related field is a plus.
• Certifications are a nice to have.
