The Porter is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff. Cleans and maintains Casino indoor and outdoor premises. The ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the guest is impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and adds to the exceptional experience for each guest.
- Keep establishment clean.
- Cleans restrooms multiple times each day, to include floor and fixtures.
- Clean all gaming devices, tables, and chairs associated with the casino floor.
- Remove trash from the gaming area and clean ash trays.
- Clean all associated support areas to include back of the house offices and restrooms as needed.
- Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year janitorial or housekeeping experience required.
- Must have knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures.
- Maintain courteous and effective working relationships with others, as well as guests.
- Ability to take direction, as well as self-motivate to accomplish the needs of the facility.
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
