What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician Externship position at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital?
MLAH offers vet tech students currently enrolled in a AVMA accredited school the opportunity to participate in supervised instruction in a clinical setting. Student externs are at MLAH for the duration required by the student's school and program. We provide clinical experience with the opportunity to refine skills in a diverse variety of specialties including:
- General Practice
- Emergency
- Surgery
- Exotics
- Oncology
- Opthamology
- Internal Medicine
- Behavior
- Neurology
Externships are offered to students in either vet tech or assistants. Existing partnerships include: Harcum College, Camden County College, Manor College. Students enrolled in externships are not guaranteed employment at the completion of the externship.
