VETERINARY BEHAVIORIST
We are looking for a board-certified/board-eligible Veterinary Behaviorist who is patient-focused, has excellent teamwork and communication skills, and embodies our core values to join our non-corporate Primary Care, Emergency, and Specialty hospital. Our Behavioral Medicine Department is distinctive in that it is integrated with the rest of our hospital! This integration allows the members of our Behavior Department to assist with low-stress handling and management of inpatient and outpatient hospital-wide in addition to providing care for primary Behavior patients.
Our Behavior Department consists of 1 Veterinary Behaviorist, 1 Trainer, and several dedicated veterinary technicians and coordinators. We are eager to welcome a second Behaviorist who would enjoy the unique aspects of our Behavior Department to our team!
Mount Laurel Animal Hospital offers numerous specialties including Anesthesiology, Avian & Exotics, Behavioral Medicine, Cardiology, Clinical Pathology, Critical Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation, and Specialty Surgery!

We are well staffed with 200 support staff and highly trained veterinary technicians, including several veterinary technician specialists spanning multiple specialties, such as Anesthesia, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency and Critical Care, Exotics, and Oncology.
We are fully equipped with a 64 Slice CT scanner, 1.5 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopic equipment, a fully integrated in-house laboratory, advanced and minimally invasive surgical suites, ultrasound, digital radiography, therapy laser, surgical laser, oxygen cages, chemotherapy hood, and fully stocked pharmacy.
Our veterinary hospital is located in Mount Laurel, NJ which is a convenient 20-25 minute commute from Philadelphia. We are located 1 hour from New York City and the New Jersey shore towns, making our area an excellent choice for work and play!
