Position Summary
Summary:
The Construction Project Representative collaborates with Project Managers and is the owner representative and field representative of construction administration and site safety for the main hospital and all off sites. The Construction Project Representative ensures compliance with construction documents, contract obligations, quality assurance and vendor integration.

- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Previous construction experience, healthcare industry preferred
- Demonstrated skill utilizing iPhone IOS
- Must demonstrate initiative and possess problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite, e.g. Word and Excel
- Experience with databases and web base programs
- Field observation experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety compliance awareness
- Must possess excellent communication skills for all levels of customer service
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to multitask
- Able to read and understand construction documents and specifications
License/Certifications
- Current NYS Driver's License

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
- This position involves frequent strain due to construction and building job site conditions. May include indoor and outdoor inspections, oversight, and interactions 12 months a year, as well as stair and ladder climbing to access construction which is in progress.
- Projects may require 7 day coverage and schedule shifts.
