What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOUSEKEEPER position at Mount View Assisted Living?
Qualifications: 1. High School diploma preferred.
2. Job related experience preferred but not required.
3. Interest in housekeeping skills and procedures necessary.
4. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and to communicate with residents required.
5. Ability to perform assigned tasks to a high degree of excellence, and cleanliness required.
6. Respect for residents’ privacy and rights for respect and dignity necessary.
7. Physical stamina for constant activity required.
Conditions: Work area is assigned by supervisor. Subject to bending, kneeling, walking, lifting or moving of heavy objects; use of heavy equipment throughout day; and potential exposure to body fluids and infectious conditions of residents.
Job Summary: Responsible for the cleanliness and floor care of general areas and rooms of residents

9. Wash windows and window screens periodically. |

12. Help move personal belongings of residents and cleans and disinfects floor, furniture, bed and bathroom according to accepted procedures when a resident is discharged or transferred to another room. (If applicable). |
