Our classroom is looking for an Assistant Teacher that is excited about working with children and has a creative approach to teaching young students. We're seeking an individual who will work closely with our Lead teachers and support their educational endeavors. This Assistant Teacher will be focused on supporting the educational needs of Early Childhood students as well as assisting in the management of our classroom to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all. Familiarity with the Montessori method is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in classroom management
- Supervise students during outdoor play
- Maintain supervision and guidance of students throughout the day
- Lead story and circle time
- Assist in maintaining school cleanliness
- Be kind and courteous
- Facilitate carpool
- Attending staff and professional development meetings
- Assist in creating a prepared environment for learning
- Must pass back round check and federal finger print check
- Experience working with children preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
