What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter Home Remodeler position at Mr. Handyman of Central St. Louis County?
We need quality, professional carpenter/handyman for immediate position.
Monday through Friday - Anywhere between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. - Want flexibility? Don't want full time hours? We can work with you on a set schedule up to two weeks in advance with you telling us what hours you are available.
We are an established and growing small business that meets our employee hours of availability combined with the needs of our customers. We ask that you provide exceptionality, professionalism and communication with our customers that gives them the finished project that they are looking for. We are proudly serving the homes and businesses in areas of the St. Louis County. The carpentry technician is able to be bonded and insured and pass a background check before going into our customer homes. COVID protocols are followed. Most jobs are from two hours to two days and require a jack of all trades experience. Technicians are able to communicate problems and provide solutions in a professional manner with customers and co-workers. Backup office support is provided.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong carpentry skills & home remodeling background, 10 years
- Must provide your own hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately estimate how much time it will take you in labor hours to complete small projects and change orders
- Create accurate material lists for small projects
- Technology based system for scheduling and estimating. Must be comfortable with IPADs and Cell Phones.

$52,000 to $60,000 annual income to start
