Technician Assistant Carpenter and Handyman

• Assist in completing small to medium home repair and improvement projects including doors, windows, decks, fences, steps, siding, soffit and fascia, power washing, staining, painting, gutters, caulking, etc.  
• Assist in completing carpentry and maintenance projects including cabinetry, counter tops, shelving, drywall repair, flooring, trim, tile, etc.
• Work along side seasoned professionals performing small to medium sized bath, kitchen and basement remodels.  Learn and develop basic framing, electric and plumbing skills.
• Help ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
• Help keep company vehicles and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

• At least 21 years old and mature enough to have acquired industry experience
• Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
• Flexibility with hours (full-time or part-time basis)
• Physically capable of laborer duties, lifting heavy objects, etc.
• Proficiency to navigate computer tablets and smart phones in order to work with digital work orders, take pictures and keep notes
• Team player who can work your own independently from time to time (efficient material runs, replenishing stock, servicing equipment, etc.)
• Basic Set of Carpentry Hand & Power Tools (Cordless Drill/Driver, Circular Saw, Hammer, Tape Measure, Pliers, Utility Knife, Speed Square, Flat Bar, Socket Set, Adjustable Wrenches, Safety Goggles, Gloves, Flashlight, Etc.)

• Ability to recognize maintenance and repair items and pick up supplies as quickly as possible when needed from supply and equipment stores. 
• Willingness to learn new job skills and take on new responsibilities
• Ability to work closely with skilled tradesmen on a professional level, keeping safety as priority while working towards maximum efficiency through focused attention and synchronization.
