Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital is searching fora full-time veterinary assistant to join our team!
Qualifications and experience:
- Prior hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant is a must
- Positive, outgoing team players with exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Detail-oriented individuals with great organizational skills
- Self-starters who are outgoing and friendly and enjoy connecting with others
Your responsibilities:
- IVC placement
- Blood draw
- Pharmacy duties and lab work
- Administer vaccines and injections
- Patient handling/restraint
- Outpatient procedures
- Medication administration
- Client communication and education
- Assisting with phones, as needed
- General hospital cleaning
