The Cook is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team to provide healthy food and nutritional education to patients, families and visitors at MultiCare facilities.

Position Summary
The Cook is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team to provide healthy food and nutritional education to patients, families and visitors at MultiCare facilities.
Responsibilities
- You will provide restaurant-style dining while supporting our commitment to using whole, fresh, local, and sustainable products wherever economically possible
- You will order supplies, prepare food items, ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are met, and maintain cooler and freeze stocks
- You will utilize your strong culinary background in our fast-paced, team-oriented, high volume, and customer service focused environment
- You will apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and will possess the ability to collaborate to provide a quality product and exceptional experience for our customers
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card required
- Serve-Safe certification preferred
- Minimum two (2) years cooking experience in casual to fine dining, hotels or healthcare line cook
