What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Buyer position at Munters Corporation?
Munters is a global leader in energy efficient and sustainable air treatment solutions. Our products and service are crucial to the success of other companies in a number of industries, from manufacturing and pharmaceutical to food and agriculture.
Primary responsibilities:
Lead sourcing initiatives for the NPR categories, following the Global Sourcing strategy, methodology and roadmap
Work with cross functional key internal stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities
Lead cross functional category teams to develop strategies for NPR categories
Provide analysis of spend data, prioritize and launch sourcing initiatives
Create and manage professional RFIs and RFPs
Lead negotiations
Put contract terms and conditions in place
Lead and/or participate in NCPO category waves together with Nordic Capital portfolio companies
Work and skill requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies or Purchasing / Supply Chain Management
Three to five years of sourcing or purchasing experience,
Strong time management skills, including ability to work towards and meet deadlines including assigned and self-imposed deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills, both in one-on-one situations and in group settings, and the ability to communicate with people from all levels of the organization
Ability to develop and manage relationships with key suppliers & internal stakeholders
Proficient with Excel and MS Office, good analytical skills
Proven ability to work with and maintain confidential information
