Position Summary

Guest Relations Associates will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience and supports operations of museum attractions and invites all people to engage with the Bible. You will serve as a main source for museum information as guests walk through the museum’s exhibitions and attractions.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to museum guests 
  • Follow all guidelines, procedures and policies established by the Guest Relations leadership team
  • Always follow safety policies and procedures 
  • Strong verbal communication skills with staff and guests
  • Professionally interacts as part of a team with all staff
  • Comfortable speaking to guests both one-on-one and in groups 
  • Work effectively in busy environments with high noise levels
  • Work effectively under pressure in changing situations
  • Candidate will need to be able to stand for long periods of time and lift to up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with all museum attractions, galleries, exhibits and programs
  • Maintain basic cleanliness and order of attractions, workstations, and other museum areas
  • Passionate about the Bible and will champion our mission to invite all people to engage with the transformative power of the Bible
  • All other duties assigned by Guest Relations Management

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A genuine desire to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills and strong desire to assist and help
  • Excellent judgment
  • Ability to operate effectively as a member of a high-functioning team and pitch in when/where needed in different areas of the museum
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift/carry items that weigh 30 pounds
  • Previous experience in the hospitality, museum and/or in a customer service/customer facing role is highly desirable
  • Associates must be willing to work flexible work schedules, including evenings and weekends
