Position Summary
As a living history interpreter at museum of the Bible, you’ll be trained to use a mixture of improvisation, acting, and educational techniques. You’ll engage guests with the mission of the museum by presenting life in first-century Israel; providing demonstrations at the Gutenberg printing press; performing narratives related to the Bible; and developing new programs Passionate about the Bible and will champion our mission to invite all people to engage with the transformative power of the Bible.

Your infectious energy with an audience, passion for performance, and drive to educate will be a spotlight in the museum! Performing multiple characters in each of our permanent exhibits, K12 programs, and for seasonal events will be your primary duty. Through training in living history interpretation techniques, you’ll bring museum content to life for guests of all ages. As part of a team, we’ll collaborate to research, devise, and create new programming. Additional duties as assigned.

Education
Associate's degree (minimum) or Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or commensurate experience.

Qualifications
Previous training as a living history interpreter, acting, public speaking, or teaching is desirable. Demonstrating consistent energy and enthusiasm while maintaining authenticity is a must
