Assistant Community Business Manager

National Horizon Real Estate Services is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Assistant Community Business Manager to support daily operations at a large-scale multifamily property in the Las Vegas area. This role partners closely with the Community Business Manager to ensure the success of a 500-unit community through strong operational execution, resident satisfaction, and team support.

Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations including rent collection, resident relations, financial reporting, and vendor coordination
- Assist in managing leasing efforts, unit turns, renewals, and marketing initiatives
- Maintain accurate resident records, ledgers, lease documents, and compliance files
- Address resident questions and concerns professionally and in alignment with company policies
- Collaborate with maintenance and office teams to ensure smooth operations and timely responses
- Enforce lease terms and community policies in accordance with fair housing and company guidelines
- Assist in budget monitoring, invoice processing, and reporting as needed
- Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Community Business Manager
- Promote a positive and professional community environment through effective communication and follow-through
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily property management
- Experience working on communities with 300 units strongly preferred
- Familiarity with rent collection, lease administration, and resident relations
- Entrata experience highly preferred but NOT required ( We train!)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management regulations
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or certifications preferred
Additional Credentials
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of technical or vocational training in a maintenance-related field preferred.
- Previous experience working within property management environments required — including market-rate, affordable, and mixed-income communities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a reputation for reliability, adaptability, and professionalism under pressure.
