What are the responsibilities and job description for the Documentation Control Specialist position at Nationwide Technical Resources Corp?
The primary function of the individual is to be a subject matter expert in regards to documentation processes.
Individual must maintain an effective document control process, ensuring that all manufacturing and testing documentation is accurate, meets quality specifications and applicable customer specifications. Keeps documents up to date and accurately distributed to relevant parties while meeting production demands.
Requirements
- Check accuracy of part entries, BOMs, and revisions in documentation systems
- Create document change orders to modify parts, assemblies, and BOM documentation
- Manage files to ensure current revisions are available
- Contribute towards improving data collection and data maintenance methods from the various systems utilized
- Interact with appropriate departments to resolve documentation compliance discrepancies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Accurate, organized, and detailed
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with military standards, MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38534 preferred
- Experience with reading schematics preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
- Demonstrate ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately and efficiently
- Experience in a production environment
