JOB SUMMARY:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the shipment process and inventory control of the Repair Center. The shipping Clerk counts, labels and ships repaired ATMs to the customer for delivery or pick up and assists in the verification of physical counts of items and parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares orders in time for delivery and/or pick up- Picks up items from storage and assigns them to the delivery pallet
- Checks items for poor conditions or damages
- Labels items according to shipment orders
- Ensures correct quantity of items are packed according to company protocols
- Verifies inventory appropriately and conducts audits to ensure quality
- Assists in loading and unloading trucks
- Packs materials and items in their designated boxes and seals and labels them properly
- Counts physical inventory and prepares parcels for mailing purposes
- Practices security and safety rules in order to ensure best safety practices
- Other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a High school diploma or equivalent- 1-2 years of prior shipping experience is required
- Must possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
