You will serve as an Accountant in the Material Accountability Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience advising or administering, supervising, or performing professional accounting work that requires application of accounting theories, concepts, principles, and standards to the financial activities of governmental, quasigovernmental, or private sector organizations. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as; 1) Devising solutions to accounting problems by developing and/or modifying accounting methods and techniques; 2) Applying standard accounting principles, theories, techniques and procedures to cases where little or no precedent information exists; 3) Advising and assisting on matters of complex accounting issues by gathering, assembling, consolidating, and analyzing facts; 4) Performing oral and written communications pertaining to highly complex financial, procurement or inventory issues.
