What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ownership Clerk position at Navarro Central Appraisal District?
Job Overview
Examines monthly recording form the County Clerks Office;
Conducts document research as requested by the Mapper;
Creates tasks in the CAMA for: Exemption/ special valuation removal because of name changes, land review generated by parcel splits or combinations, and on-site inspection for new improvements or businesses.
Assists the public with ownership issues;
Any other assignments or duties as assigned by the Mapper, Appraisal Director, Deputy Chief Appraiser, or the Chief Appraiser.
Skills
- Basic understanding of property ownership rights in Texas
- Basic understanding of land surveying
- Ability to communicate tactfully and courteously with people
Suggested Training and Experience
- High School education
- Computer skills including experience with;
ESRI ArcReader; and Microsoft Office Programs
