Position Title: RN – Unit Manager
Location: Moses Lake, WA 98837
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $55 – $58/hr
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for a 13-week contract assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Moses Lake, WA. The role involves managing a 30-bed unit within a facility that averages 75 residents. This is a primarily weekday position; however, flexibility is required to cover floor duties during staffing shortages or urgent call-offs. On-call coverage is also required every third weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the assigned unit
Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
Develop and coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Ensure compliance with all facility policies and applicable state regulations
Step in for direct patient care when necessary
Participate in team meetings and provide leadership during emergencies and staffing shortages
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Washington (or compact equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
Previous leadership or unit management experience preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
Willingness to respond to urgent staffing needs and participate in on-call rotation every third weekend
