What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Worker position at NCHC?
Laundry Worker Opportunity:
Under the direction of the laundry team coordinator, performs manual tasks to ensure the efficient processing and delivery of all facility linens.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The pay range for this role is $14.99-$16.33 based on education and experience.
- This job is full-time and in person. Hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm with alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

- As a full-time employee of NCHC, you would be eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. It contains elements of both a 401(k) or defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Participating staff contribute 6.95% and NCHC will match this at 100% each pay period!
What Qualifies You:
- High School Diploma
- 6 months relevant experience
- Valid WI driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage
What a Laundry Worker Does at NCHC:
- Assists with the folding and distribution of all dry linen.
- Assists with delivery of clean linens and pickup of soiled linens from all using areas.
- Ensures that linens are sorted according to classification, readying and weighing for washing.
- Maintains regular and predictable on-site attendance.
