JOB SUMMARY: The Logistics Driver is responsible for delivery and pick up of materials from cross docks throughout the New England region in a Class C box truck and flatbed.
SCOPE OF DUTIES: The purpose of this job description is to communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
- Deliver and pick up materials from x-docks throughout New England in a Class C box truck and flatbed
- Accept and accurately check deliveries
- Generate and document material returns
- Maintain warehouse organization
- Prepare material for daily site deployment
- Support maintenance and upkeep of warehouse / office, fleet and equipment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in DOT compliance and safe operation of box truck
- Forklift operator experience required
- Must agree to and pass a background check, physical capacity, and drug screening and be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card. Driving record must meet commercial insurance standards

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift/carry 75 pounds.

- OSHA 10 certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- Commercial drivers’ physical exam
- Hazcom / Battery Awareness
