We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead and oversee all global sourcing and purchasing activities from Lawrenceville, GA. This role is critical in managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement costs, and ensuring timely and high-quality supply of materials to support our product line of creative and innovative diamond art kits, with international experience. The candidate will have strong international sourcing experience, preferably in the crafts, DIY kits, or FMCG industries, and will bring a proactive and analytical approach to procurement, logistics coordination, and vendor management.
Sourcing & Supplier Management
o Identify, evaluate, and onboard international suppliers and manufacturers (e.g., for packaging, printing, resins, tools, textiles).
o Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and contracts.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with Diamond Dotz’s quality and ethical standards.
Procurement Operations
o Manage end-to-end purchasing processes for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
o Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels aligned with sales forecasts and production needs.
o Collaborate with the product development team to source new materials and components for upcoming collections and SKUs.
Cost Control & Optimization
o Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and increase sourcing efficiency.
o Work with Finance to set and manage procurement budgets.
o Benchmark prices globally to ensure competitiveness and sustainability.
Logistics & Compliance
o Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely international shipments.
o Ensure all imports comply with local and international regulations (e.g., customs clearance, labeling requirements, safety certifications).
o Mitigate risks in the supply chain through proactive contingency planning.
System & Documentation
o Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (NetSuite) including PO creation, supplier profiles, and delivery schedules.
o Develop and standardize procurement SOPs, workflows, and reports.
Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in international procurement or global sourcing.
o Prior experience working with suppliers in Asia, especially China is highly desirable.
o Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
o Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to travel internationally if required.
o Working knowledge of Incoterms, HTS codes, and customs procedures.
o Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing standards.
