What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at NeunerPate?
Duties to include: Medical record chronologies and summaries, correspondence and pleadings; preparing discovery and discovery responses; document management; preparing for depositions, mediation, and trial.
Candidate must have a knowledge of court websites and research skills and be familiar with the federal and state rules of procedure. Candidate should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. Each candidate should have an aptitude for detail, the ability to work efficiently, and to work under pressure with or without direct supervision. Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time and have experience with computerized databases, document management programs, and on-line services.
Candidates must have either a bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate. A minimum of three to five years’ insurance defense experience is preferred.
