PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accurately enter payer information into multiple databases and follow established procedures for distributing information for further review
Follow up with carriers for precertification numbers and file completed requests as per established procedures
Continually monitor schedule to ascertain most current data
Verify benefits of each case and appropriately note account for workers comp cases and motor vehicle accidents
Acquire precertification for each case and actively upload to patient file
Document all pertinent information and communications in database
