We are looking for the best talent to provide in-home intensive in-community therapeutic services to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. NeuroPath Behavioral Healthcare (NPBHC) is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our team! Key Responsibilities :
- Providing individual in-home therapy sessions and group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, perform bio-psycho- social assessments, Etc.
- Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designed time frames (intake, treatment plan, dioap notes, etc.
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory weekly paperwork
Requirements
- Must have master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy or related fields as LAC.
- Including weekends. Schedule must be flexible.
- Must have at least 1-year experience providing positive behavior supports, PECS, social stories, use of visual aids and implementing behavior support plans.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 or at least 1-year experience working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
- Must have professional liability insurance
- Must have Valid driver’s license, registered vehicle, computer or laptop with ability to print.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Must be able to drive up to 35 minutes or less from home to client.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with copy of License.
- Bilingual is a plus, Spanish preferable, other languages are welcome.
