Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Phone Operator. As a Phone Operator, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, providing information, and directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals. This is an important role as you will be the first point of contact for our customers and clients.
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide information and assistance to callers
- Direct calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Take messages and relay them accurately
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer information
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or escalate them as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and photocopying
Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks
- Bilingual skills (preferred)
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and friendly demeanor
