New England Air Systems is looking for someone to be part of our service apprenticeship program that has completed a few years as an apprentice. In this role, you will assist in responding to client service needs by performing routine and emergency service on heating systems under the direction of the service manager.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency service on commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
Perform maintenance on commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
Participate in technician meetings and training sessions.
Maintain assigned service vehicle.
Maintain inventory of parts in the assigned service vehicle.
Complete all timecards, work orders and purchase orders in timely manner.
Communicate regularly with the dispatcher regarding job information and status.
Be alert for new or additional services or products to be supplied to customers.
Follow up on customer’s questions or complaints promptly.
Show willingness to learn new material
Completes apprenticeship logbooks and hands them in on time monthly.

Physical Demands :
Ability to lift and / or carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs repetitively
Shall follow company safety policies at all times, by wearing the proper PPE for each job task as required by VOSHA, OSHA, and NIOSH guidelines
The ability to climb and work from up to a 40-foot ladder
