The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and members of Minor League Baseball. The organization is proud to be New Hampshire’s only professional sports team, a community champion of the City of Manchester and State of New Hampshire, and producer of high-quality family friendly entertainment.
The Fisher Cats are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and self-driven individual motived to make Delta Dental Stadium the most entertaining experience in the Eastern League and uphold its reputation as “Best Ballpark” as voted on by fans. The Accounting Assistant is a seasonal position mainly helping the Director of Finance with Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, and daily NetSuite operations. The ideal candidate would have some level of experience in these functions, while allowing for growth and building their skillset within both the accounting and professional sports industry
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

· Entering bills, and paying bills through check, online portal, and ACH
· Creating invoices based on incoming contracts
· Handling cash bags for operations
· Recording sales, and making deposits
· Making journal entries to record revenue
· Special projects relating to invoicing, trade agreements, budgeting, and financial reporting
REQUIREMENTS:
· Some accounting/bookkeeping experience is preferred
· NetSuite experience is strongly preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
· Pay: $18-$20 per Hour
· Physical setting: Office (not remote)
· Flexible schedule, must be 24 hours a week, you split that up between mornings/afternoons, and any week days. It is also possible to arrange some weekend days. This position is starts in March and ends in October.
