Business Data Analyst I

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining various reporting solutions to support our business operations, such as Power BI, Jet/Cosmo Reporting, ERP Financial Reporting, and Bartender Labels. Knowledge in data warehousing, Python, and C# are a plus. 

This role involves working closely with various departments to analyze their reporting needs, organize and document the reports in a consistent & standard format. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reporting dashboards to visualize KPI’s resulting in increased data availability and data transparency.
• Aid in the buildout of a corporate data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain reports using Jet and Cosmo Reporting tools to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
• Generate and analyze financial reports using out of the box ERP financial reporting tools to support financial planning and analysis.
• Own change requests around product and packaging labels using Bartender software.
• Identify manual reporting processes in the business and work with stakeholders to automate the work. 
• Support custom business critical applications written in C#.
• Meet with business users to translate business requirements into system realities

Requirements

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• 2-4 years of proven experience in reporting and data analysis using Power BI
• Working knowledge of DAX and Power Query/M code 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to ingrain oneself in the business processes to be able to identify and implement continuous improvement projects 
• Creative thinker with the ability to translate vision into reality
• Ability to use time effectively and efficiently while managing multiple priorities
• Effective planning, organization, analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills required 
• Demonstrated dependability, reliability and ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
