Operating newspapers, television stations and online platforms, New-Press NOW, in St. Joseph, Mo., is seeking a Creative Services Producer.
The Creative Services Producer creates effective multimedia (video, print, digital, and social media) marketing campaigns and promotional materials to support News-Press NOW Media Group and its partners. This position will design graphics, shoot videos, write scripts, and edit compelling promotions. The Creative Services Producer will contribute to news, advertising, and marketing meetings, assist with sales initiatives, and lead promotional efforts by communicating with clients and across the organization.
The successful candidate will possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, strong written and oral communication, organizational and time management skills and the ability to maintain focus and work under pressure.
Knowledge of television production practices, including non-linear editing systems and graphics software (Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator) is preferred.
A four-year degree in graphic design, video production, communications, public relations or marketing is preferred.
Two years of experience in advertising, marketing or public relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Experience using DSLR cameras is required.
The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable and insured transportation.
The candidate must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR check and drug screening.
