Position Summary : The Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing creative, engaging enrichment programs for students. This role requires effective communication with both children and parents, creativity in lesson planning, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of students. The Enrichment Coordinator will work closely with teachers and staff to ensure students are provided with meaningful, individualized learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Effective Communication Skills :

Communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Maintain a positive, professional tone in all interactions.

Creativity and Resourcefulness :

Develop and implement creative enrichment plans and activities.

Utilize a variety of teaching tools and materials to enhance learning experiences.

Differentiated Instruction :

Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.

Provide individualized attention to support each child's unique needs.

Cultural Sensitivity :

Respect and celebrate the diversity of the students and their families.

Integrate culturally relevant materials and activities into the curriculum.

Technology Integration :

Incorporate age-appropriate technology tools to enhance learning experiences.

Use technology to keep parents informed about student progress and activities.

Additional Responsibilities :

Assist lead teachers in implementing activities and curricula that support the development of self-esteem and social skills.

Support children during meal times, bathroom needs, and clean-up.

Participate collaboratively with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school.

Interact positively with students to meet their individual needs through play, exploration, and learning.

Attend and participate in staff meetings, parent meetings, and other required meetings.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in education or child enrichment programs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create engaging, educational activities.

Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds.

Familiarity with using technology in educational settings.

A passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Physical Demands

May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk frequently during the day. May stand four (4) to eight (8) hours per day. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion or more depending on child's weight. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
