Position Specific Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our project estimating team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing and managing cost estimates for various projects, focusing on accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals. The Senior Estimator will work closely with different departments to ensure project estimates are comprehensive and consider all project variables.
Day to day responsibilities include leading and preparing estimates, the development of pricing models, and evaluating new technological innovations in the industry. The candidate will have the ability to grow their skillset, as our team also works on a large portfolio of technologies including wind, utility scale solar, distributed solar, energy storage, transmission & distribution lines, substations, water treatment, 5G & fiber, hydrogen, pipelines, and fossil generation.
Job Overview
This position develops, quantifies, costs, and provides a complete capital expenditure (CapEx) model for evaluating projects. Employees in this role provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, market pricing, and staffing considerations during the estimating process.

- Coordinates with other departments, ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources

- Remains current with technology and industry evolution, assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions
- Establishes, builds and implements metrics for cost and construction estimate checks
