Course Consultant

Overview - 

Founded in 2012 with less than 20 students, Ni Hao Chinese now has over 2,000 students go through our language learning program. We are looking for a candidate who has professional selling and communication skills to help with promoting classes. Ni Hao Chinese is expanding quickly, and we want the best candidate to grow with us.

Requirements -

• High school diploma required. 
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiating skills, clear speaking, and fluent in English.
• Good at customer service, professional selling, and conflict resolution.
• Good service attitude and strong interpersonal skills. 
• A good team player that takes initiative and works well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

Desirable -

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• The ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Prior experience working in sales, customer service, marketing, or education field preferred.
• Good at coordinating with parents, teachers, and students; ability to make connections with a diverse array of people.
• Good telephone communication skills.
• Familiar with the Internet model, and digital social marketing.
• Proficient in Google Docs and Sheets.

Work Responsibilities -

• Recommend courses/programs based on customers' needs.
• Schedule online classes and process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or email.
• Answer customers' questions about our courses/programs or other related topics.  
• Maintain customer records, online-visit new or existing customers evaluate needs, and increase the purchasing or renewal rate.
• Prepare product presentations to explain/promo product specifications.
• Work with the marketing team to actively promote our products, courses, and programs.
• Identify new and innovative ways to prospect new customers.
• Customer care - answer emails and calls existing customers, follow up on customer satisfaction, create and execute surveys.
• Create, edit and improve sales and customer service knowledge base.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
