Job Duties
Responsibility / Duty
Serves as the initial contact for individuals entering the Office of Admissions.
Greet, engage and assist with connecting individuals to appropriate
Admissions staff, especially for campus tours, etc. Provide hospitality and
conversation while in the general area.

Responsibility / Duty
Answers the main line phone line and incoming emails for the
university and/or route to appropriate personnel for addressing.
Reviews incoming mail and distributes to proper staff personnel.

Assists in office events such as Orientation, Colonel Day, Scholar’s Nights,
Spring Preview Day, etc. as needed.

Responsibility / Duty
Determines supplies needed for the office and major mailings. Does all
supply and equipment orders according to budget allocations for our area.
Enters requisitions in Banner for such needs and for recruiting needs as
appropriate for printing, etc.

Assists with travel requisitions and other duties to ensure travel is approved
and reimbursed. Work with university departments or rental services to
secure vehicles for recruiters.

collection, etc. Organizes supplies for recruiting and orientation events
with the help of student workers.

Minimum Experience Required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required experience on the basis of six months of training for six months of experience for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
Completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.
NOTE:
Business or technical school training with less than completion will only be credited in six month increments. Similarly, college training will only be credited in 15 semester hour increments.
NOTE:
Any college hours or degree must be from a school accredited by one of the following regional accrediting bodies: the Middle States Commission on Higher Education; the New England Commission of Higher Education; the Higher Learning Commission; the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities; the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
